Depends how nice the dealer is. They may only want to replace the one that is leaking. Mine did at first till they checked the rest and found the others were seeping slightly so those were changed as well. Might be as well to insist that the other clips are checked.
BTW I had a 05 RSVR before this Factory and that had the same type of clips but didn't have any bother with those. |

Cut about 10 mm off that should be enough. I drained my system and replaced the coolant. Only because it had not been done for a while. Dont just pull the hose off - unless you fancy a shower, thats what I got.

I was in touch with my dealer weeks ago and am still waiting for him to sort out the coolant repair under warranty,he has been in touch with Aprilia but i am still waiting.How can these things take so long i am fed up waiting.So i e-mailed Aprilia and they said they will be back to me.WHEN

Phil, I just rode into my dealer (Speedaway) one Saturday morning, explained the issue to them. They said that if I didn't mind waiting they would fix it there and then. Did take a couple of hours after waiting in the queue of other jobs though, but that wasn't a problem for me.

I wish i was that lucky Fastnat,i have mailed Aprilia again but still no answer.My nearest Aprilia dealer is in Colaraine which is about 5 to 6 hours away so its getting to the stage of doing it myself which i dont really want to.Major fu##ing pissed

Yeah defo,spoke to my dealer and he said he has got the clips but is still waiting on the hoses,anyone know if these are readily available as i am pissed off waiting and might just buy the hoses myself and get the dealer to fix it.After sending my complaint to Aprilia they were in contact with my dealer saying someone was on complaining but they did not come back to me with the relevant info.

Well at last my coolant problem is fixed,called into my dealer on Thursday and he sorted it for me Thank god,i asked him to check the others also and he said they are fine.
