Alright lads,looking for a bit of advice.Just took off fairing on my RSVR Factory and noticed coolant leaking a bit on the hose,any advice why and a cure please.Im not very mechanically sound,Cheers

Is it leaking where the hose enters the rad? If it is then probably those silly hose clips that are fitted by Aprilia. Had that problem on the offside top rad clip when the bike was about 12 months old. Speedaway replaced all the rad hose clips with good old fashioned jubilee clips under warranty. fnf |

Had the same problem myself. The leak was from the hose as it connects to the water pump. I cut 10 mm off the pipe and fitted a new clip. No more leaks.

Yep that is where it seems to be leaking i will try the jubilee clip route after i try to tighten their silly clip,Thanks guys

The problem will be the pipe, thats why you will need to cut some off.

how much will i need to cut off and without sounding like a clown will the coolant spill everywhere when i pull off the hose to cut it.i went out last night and noticed the the other side leaking too

When i bought it the guy who had it had bought an extended warranty,is it covered under the warranty and does the warranty apply to different countries as i bought it in the uk,Cheers

I have been on to local dealer and he is sorting it for me,do you think i should get all the clips on the hoses changed or just the ones that are leaking.
